We create different meeting spaces for exchange divided in the following sectors:
INTRODUCTION TO ARTEXCHANGE
The introduction to ArtExchange takes place for 2 or 3 groups before the first ArtExchange program begins. Each group has one or two partner groups from the Rampenlichter Ensemble. The partner groups see each other’s plays and participate in joint workshops. Some partner groups also have the opportunity take part in discussion rounds about their productions.
Visiting other performances is a key part of participating in the festival. Groups invited to the festival receive free admission to all performances (prior reservation required)!
The participants take part in various dance and theatre workshop or test their abilities by leading a dance or theatre workshop for school classes and/or other participants themselves.
…WORKSHOPS LED BY ARTISTS FOR RAMPENLICHTER’S PERFORMING YOUNG ARTISTS
Two or three workshops will be offered for two or three groups participating in Rampenlichter.
THEATRE AND DANCE TALKBACKS
… think outside the box and broaden your horizons!
Performance and audience talkbacks provide an opportunity to reflect upon what has been seen. Spaces for discussion offer young artists, as well as the public, the opportunity to exchange and engage in their respective experiences with dance and theatre.
OPPORTUNITY FOR COMING TOGETHER FOR PROJECT MANAGERS
How do other dancers, theatre makers, dance and theatre educators experience artistic work with children and young people?
What opportunities and/or challenges do they see in their work?
This format presents the opportunity for project managers to come together to exchange experiences.
All project managers with an participating group or a former attendee of Rampenlichter are invited.
