The introduction to ArtExchange is part of the program and takes place for 2 or 3 groups before the first ArtExchange program begins. Each group has one or two partner groups from other ensembles that are participating at Rampenlichter. The partner groups watch each other’s plays and participate in joint workshops. Some partner groups also have the opportunity to take part in discussion rounds about their productions.
Visiting other performances is a key part of the participation in the festival. The groups invited to the festival receive free admission to all performances!
In various workshop formats, the participants themselves take part in dance and theatre workshops or test their own skills in dance or theatre education by hosting workshops for school classes or other participating groups.
…WORKSHOPS BY ARTISTS FOR OTHER RAMPENLICHTER ARTISTS:
There are different dance and theatre workshops offered for two or three Rampenlichter partner groups to be attended in mixed groups.
… think outside the box and broaden your horizons!
Performance and audience talkbacks provide an opportunity to reflect upon what has been seen on stage. Spaces for discussion offer young artists, as well as the public, the opportunity to exchange and engage in their respective experiences with dance and theatre.
