The application period for Rampenlichter 2021 ended on January 10th. We are grateful for the many applications which reached us, despite the difficulties the COVID-19 pandemic caused and we are looking forward to putting together an exciting programme for the 12th edition of the Rampenlichter festival.

FROM HOLDING ON TO AND LETTING GO, VIA DISCIPLINE AND RESISTANCE TO THE APOCALYPSE – THE PARTICIPANTS FOR RAMPENLICHTER 2021 HAVE BEEN SELECTED!

It wasn’t easy to decide on who out of the 79 applicants would be invited to this year’s festival. All the more so it is our pleasure to now be able to announce the participants in the 12th Rampenlichter festival.

WE INVITED THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTION FOR RAMPENLICHTER’S RESIDENCE PROGRAMME:

  • Spielen in der Stadt e.V. in Zusammenarbeit mit dem NS-Dokumentationszentrum München mit dem Projekt „always remember. never forget“

In addition an ensemble of participants of the different TUSCH theatre schools in Munich will be put together especially for the occasion of this year’s Festival. Under the direction of the Pädagogisches Institut München and PATHOS München they are going to develop a play inspired by four of the productions invited to Rampenlichter.

We are looking forward to an inspiring and diverse programme and a marvellous dance and theatre festival from July 9th till 22nd at schwere reiter – Tanz Theater Musik in the Kreativquartier München | Dachauer Straße and also online for the very first time!
